Breeder, future breeders, Silky owners,  fanciers, and especially novices are encouraged to join us for a fun and informative session designed to better know and understand the breed, the breed standard, and evaluations from the breeder's perspective.  This session is an open house so drop in when you can and engage in a discussion geared toward addressing breeding topics, conformation, the standard, puppies, whelping, and evaluating breeding stock.     Pre-registration for this Open House is not required.

Judges' Education -- Hands On Judges' Seminar 2:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 (location will be posted in ballroom)

If you are interested in a future in judging the Silky Terrier  you may wish to register for our formal Breeder's Education Seminar.  Pre-registration is required (online registration form below) as materials will need to be prepared for you in order to get credit from the AKC for attending this ~90 minute presentation   There will be hands on time with exhibits and real-time ring evaluations during this session.

This informative hands-on seminar is designed for Silky Judges and individuals who wish to become Silky Judges in the future in order to get to know the breed better especially the fine points of the AKC  Silky Terrier Standard.

Norma Baugh and Tarianne Terrazas will provide handouts along with time for hands on examination of Silkys.

This is a complimentary seminar open to judges, exhibitors, and those interested in the breed but we do ask that you register in advance so we have enough materials for all of our attendees.

I wish to attend the Judges' Education Seminar in Herndon, VA on Friday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Pre-registration required.

Precise time for the start of this seminar will be announced on or about March 15, 2012. You can expect late afternoon.
